Chris asked:
Knats or fruit-flies have invaded my home and the are flying all over, especially in the kitchen. I have cleaned well but don’t want to spray deadly chemicals in my kitchen. What can I do?

Pour vinegar down your drain and/or spray the fruit flies directly.
First, Take the fruit off the counter, and double check you dont have an old bag of potatoes in your pantry, If this doesnt work, try a little vinegar in a cup in a few hidden places. They usually fly right into that. Also a few drops of lavender oil placed in a hidden place could work. Good luck (oh, by the way, if you have any plants(indoors) this could be your cause too.
do everything everyone said in their answers except use apple cider vinegar instead of (white) vinegar. The fruity scent of the apple cider vinegar is more attractive to gnats than regular vinegar.
Spell GNATS correctly for starters.
