Ann D asked:
Since the beginning of the year I have been triing to reduce the amount of chemicals I clean my house with. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make natural cleaning solutions for my home. I have recently switched to micro fiber clothes for windows and dusting that just require water and love them. Now I need things for my kitchen, bath, and floors.simple is good I want to save money and protect my family and the enviroment from chemicals.
I have used vinegar to clean my faucets and it works great, but the smell can be overwhelming, any suggestions?

A very good cleaner is plain white vinegar. If you need extra scrubbing power, using baking soda
I would suggest Simple Green. It cleans everything from the sink to the floors–everything. It is all natural and smells kind of piney. I have used it for about ten years and it is the only household cleaner I use.
I use products from Melaleuca and love them. They are non-toxic and work extremely well. They are only available from direct distributors. You can check them out at. Email me if you want more information.
