How does one clean the underside of an iron with a teflon base?
Jasper asked:
I have a steam iron with a teflon coated base, which has some synthetic cloth (from my mattress) that is stuck to it. It is a big hassle because some of it comes off every time I iron some other article of clothing, and stains it. Is there a product available to remove it (preferably without scratching the teflon), or some other home remedy / chemical which one can use? Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Heat the iron to the hottest setting and wipe with a thick slightly damp wash cloth.. It should wipe right off and in the future don’t iron things on your mattress….
